Bradford High School was held to five hits and didn’t score until the final inning in an 11-2 loss to visiting Hilliard in the season opener for both softball teams on Feb. 19.
Both Bradford runs came on a home run by Addyson Hinds.
Only three of Hilliard’s runs were earned.
The Tornadoes travel to play Suwannee on Friday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. Bradford then travels to play Orange Park on Monday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m.
