As part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s Starke Railroad Overpass Interchange Improvements project, overnight paving operations will continue Sunday, Feb. 11, through Thursday, Feb. 15, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. During this time period, operations will take place on multiple areas: State Road 100, eastbound and westbound Frontage Roads, South, Walnut, Thompson, Church and Cherry streets and other areas. During construction activities, there will be lane closures, closures with detours and flagging operations.
Road closures and detours will be utilized between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists should follow posted detours during these times.
Schedule is subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
FDOT hired J.B. Coxwell Contracting to complete this $23.6 million project in early 2024, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
