LBMS caps inaugural season in golf

Lake Butler Middle School participated in the sport of golf for the first time ever this year, with the inaugural team going 4-2. Coach George Green, a 1993 Union County High School alumnus and current criminal-justice teacher at UCHS, said players have learned basic golf etiquette and how to score the match as well as the skills of the game. “This will make a great feeder program for the (UCHS) varsity team as we strive to make Union County a powerhouse in this amazing sport,” Green said.
