BHS shuts out Rams again, advances to Region 2-2S final

Bradford High School’s defense created four turnovers and shut out Eastside for the second time this season, defeating the visiting Rams 37-0 in a Region 2-2S semifinal game tonight (Nov. 18).

The Tornadoes, who beat the Rams 28-0 in the regular season, got interceptions from C.J. Carn, Ahman Covington, Chalil Cummings and Jametrius Pringle as Bradford recorded its ninth shtuout this year.

Willie Pollard and Dae’Jon Shanks, returning from injury, each accounted for two scores as the Tornadoes have now won two playoff games by a combined score of 85-0.

Quarterback Jeremiah McKenzie threw two touchdown passes.

Bradford will host Baker County (9-3) for the Region 2 championship on Friday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
