Union County High School is the fifth seed in the District 6-1A softball tournament at Branford High School and will play fourth seed Bell in a quarterfinal game on Monday, April 29, at 7 p.m.
If the Tigers win, they’ll play top seed Fort White in a semifinal game on Tuesday, April 30, at 5 p.m. A win there would put Union in the championship game, which will be played on Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m.
Union would play either second seed Branford or third seed Lafayette if it reaches the championship game.
