Turnovers costly in Keystone’s 28-0 loss in Ft. White

Cartez Daniels takes a handoff from quarterback Ford Baylor.

Ft. White’s Najeeb Smith ran for four touchdowns, and Keystone Heights fumbled five times in Ft. White’s 28-0 win over Keystone in Columbia County.

Moderate rain fell throughout the game, which was halted for 30 minutes due to lightning.

The precipitation grounded both teams’ passing games, with both offenses only attempting seven throws.

Smith ran for 145 yards on 14 carries. Much of his yardage resulted from outside runs, with the Ft. White running back beating Keystone defenders to the sideline.

Keystone lost possession of three of its five fumbles.
