Bradford High School’s football team had no trouble getting past visiting Crescent City, defeating the Raiders 48-0 in a Region 2-2S quarterfinal game tonight.

The Tornadoes (10-1) got an 88-yard kickoff return by Jametrius Pringle for a score to open the game and later scored on the offense’s first play from scrimmage on a 36-yard pass from Jeremiah McKenzie to Jarrin Alexander.

By the time the first quarter ended, Bradford held a 27-lead over a four-win Crescent City team that qualified for the postseason by virtue of being the District 8 champion.

Bradford, which got two touchdown runs from Willie Pollard, will host Eastside (9-2) in a Region 2 semifinal game on Friday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. Eastside, the fifth seed in the region, advanced by defeating fourth seed North Marion (7-4) 27-14.

The Tornadoes are Region 2’s top seed.
