Northview running back Jamarkus Jefferson scored three touchdowns as the undefeated Chiefs defeated the Union County High School football team 21-11 in a Class 1R state-semifinal game in Century on Dec. 2.
A Jonathan Edwards field goal accounted for the Tigers’ only points until running back Rayvon Durant scored in the fourth quarter.
The Tigers ended their season with an 8-3 record.
Northview (13-0) will now play Hawthorne (11-0) for the state championship on Saturday, Dec. 10.
