Dear Editor:
After all of the infighting over the last 18 months politically, my belief is that we are all glad that it is over. Our citizens have voted, we have a president-elect, and both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have asked for peace and understanding and said let’s start a new chapter of working for our country.
We all remember, in November of 2020, after the election, but before Donald Trump was sworn into office, there were remarks in Congress, “We have to impeach that S.O.B. or he will get reelected!” So, we had four years of fighting. Let’s not go through that again. Someone needs to send that memo to the “Tonight Show” and “The View,” because the anger and nastiness is still going on. As a result of that negative broadcasting, there are protests in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
Let’s all pray for our leaders to do our will, and work toward making the country we love a better place. Where we can work hand in hand to love our neighbor, saying God bless America!
Sincerely,
Ken and Paulette Krug
