An article appearing in the May issue of Singing News Magazine spotlights the gratitude of a Union County native for the many hours of music training he received in the Union County school systems. Josh Singletary of Raiford honors Debbie Bailey, the director of the music education and choral department for the entire school system, who directed him from kindergarten through graduation. She moved tirelessly and enthusiastically from one school to the next helping Josh and the other students better their love for music.
Josh said, “I wouldn’t be where I am today had it not been for Debbie Bailey.”
Singing News is the printed voice of Southern gospel music and Josh Singletary is the pianist and plays baritone for the Tribute Quartet.
