On October 27, the children’s ministry at Trinity Baptist Church held a packing party to send Christmas gift boxes overseas. The party was part of Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, which has delivered over 220 million boxes to children in over 170 countries and territories since 1993.

Project Leader Diane Michel said Trinity’s children’s ministry prepared 200 boxes for shipment: 100 for girls ages five to nine and 10 to 14 and 100 for boys in the same two age groups.

From November 18 through 25, the church will be a drop-off location for other churches and groups that prepared boxes for the effort.
