Dolores Hodges
Mrs. Dolores L. Hodges, 92, of Keystone Heights passed away Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at Starke. She was born Dec. 3, 1930, in Jacksonville to Nolan and Thelma (Webb) Turknett. She was a retired Realtor and a member of Community Church of Keystone Heights. She enjoyed helping others and loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hodges; and son-in-law, David West.
She is survived by three children, Ronald (Eileen) Gilmore, Darrell Gilmore, and Janice Gilmore West. She was lovingly called “Grandma” and “Mema” by grandchildren, Christopher Gilmore, Scott Gilmore, Jeremy West, Matthew West, Joshua West, Kevin West, Heather Gilmore Hill, Clinton Gilmore, and Jennifer Gilmore McCormick; great-grandchildren, Logan Shimph, Aylssa Shimph, Madelyn McCormick, Lexi Gilmore Spencer, Sky Hill, Katie West, Kylee West, James West, and Ava West; and a great-great-grandchild, Alastair Spencer.
A private family graveside service will be held with her nephew, Mr. Steve Melton officiating. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Community Hospice.
