Madison hands BHS baseball team its 2nd straight loss

Bradford High School’s baseball team was held to two hits in a 12-2 loss to host Madison County on Feb. 27.

The Tornadoes (1-3) were down 9-0 before putting a run on the board in the third inning. Jeffrey Brugh, who drew a leadoff walk, scored on Kevin Crawford’s sacrifice fly.

Mattox Burgin scored the team’s other run on a steal of home after reaching on a leadoff walk in the fourth.

Bradford travels to play Baker County on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. and will travel to play Palatka on Monday, March 6, at 7 p.m.
