The Bradford County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting sealed proposals for the paving of NW 53rd Avenue, NW 219th Street, and NW 41st Avenue.
Qualified firms or individuals desiring to provide the required products or services must submit two (2) packages in a sealed envelope or similar package marked “Sealed Proposal for NW 53rd Ave., NW 219th St., NW 41st Ave.” to the Bradford County Clerk located at 945 N. Temple Avenue, Starke, FL 32091 no later than 2:00 PM, local time, on Thursday, January 4, 2024.
All proposals MUST have the responder’s name and mailing address clearly shown on the outside of the envelope or package when submitted. Proposals will be opened and respondents announced at 2:15 PM, local time, or as soon thereafter as practical, on Thursday, January 4, 2024 in the Board of County BOCC Chambers located at 945 N. Temple Avenue, Starke, FL 32091. No faxed or emailed proposals will be accepted.
RFP will be provided to interested parties via email. Interested parties are to contact Christie McLelland with CHW at [email protected] to obtain an FTP link for download of the RFP.
Project is funded entirely through FDOT SCOP, Financial Project ID: 436451-1-54-01. Design of the project is being handled by CHW, Inc. Bradford County will be performing CEI services.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Board of County BOCC Chambers located at 945 N. Temple Avenue, Starke, FL 32091 on Thursday, December 21 at 2:00 PM. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference, but attendance is not required for submittal of Bid.
The County reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject any or all proposals, to cancel or withdraw this solicitation at any time and waive any irregularities in the RFP process. The County reserves the right to award any contract to the respondent which it deems to offer the best overall service; therefore, the County is not bound to award any contract based on the lowest quoted price. The County, in its sole and absolute discretion, also reserves the right to waive any minor defects in the process and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the County’s best interest.
