New River Regional Landfill
Class I Landfill
The New River Solid Waste Association (NRSWA) is extending an invitation for bids (IFB) to inspect and rehabilitate 14 leachate manholes and a leachate wet well at the New River Regional Landfill (NRRL) Class I Landfill. The successful Bidder will be responsible for inspecting the leachate manholes and leachate wet well and for rehabilitating surfaces by means of a liner, sealant, or other appropriate technology in accordance with the project’s Technical Specifications and Drawings. The work will also include high-pressure jet cleaning of the leachate collection system of the NRRL (Cells 1 through 7) and an Add Alternate to inspect and rehabilitate two leachate collection/leak detection wet wells. The NRRL is approximately 2.5 miles north of Raiford, Florida, on the east side of State Road 121.
Bid packages and other information are available for pickup from the Administrative Office at NRSWA, 24276 NE 157th Street, Raiford, Florida 32083. Bid packages can also be requested to be received electronically by emailing NRSWA at [email protected]. All bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided. Completed bids are to be mailed to NRSWA, PO Box 647, Raiford, Florida 32083 or delivered to the NRSWA Administrative Office at 24276 NE 157th Street, Raiford, Florida 32083. After the IFB opening, the bids will be examined for completeness and preserved in the custody of the NRSWA Executive Director. Bids will be evaluated and a vendor selected in accordance with NRSWA Purchasing Policy. All bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. Contact the NRSWA office at (386) 431-1000 for questions concerning the bid package. The DEADLINE for submittal is Monday, December 9, 2024, 3:00 pm (local time). A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING will be held at the site on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 10:00 am (local time).
