REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Bidders are invited to submit proposals for: +/- 10 ACRE LAND CLEARING AND RELATED WORK PROJECT AT KEYSTONE HEIGHTS AIRPORT. The specific intent of this Request for Proposal is to de-stump, level and stabilize approximately 10- acres of recently cleared land at the Keystone Heights Airport. Project Area 1 is approximately 8-acres of land cleared of trees in July 2022. Project Area 2 is approximately 2-acres of land cleared of trees in July 2022. The desired future condition is for the project area to be clear of debris and tree stumps, minor slope grading to mowable slopes, and the ground seeded with a combination of annual and perennial grass seed blend. The seed blend will need to be incorporated into the soil for proper germination. The seed blend and quantity per acre must be included in the bid. The existing and remaining tree debris from the July 2022 timber harvest can be pile burned or hauled offsite. Raking and debris removal of the +/- 10-acre project is anticipated and warranted for future land use. Subsurface utilities locate and marking will be required before any site work is performed. Access to view the project areas is available during Airport business hours. Please submit bids no later than December 14th, 2022 @ 2:00pm at the Keystone Heights Airport office located at 7150 Airport Road, Starke, FL 32091.
The work needs to be completed on or before February 15th, 2023.
