New River Regional Landfill

Class I Landfill

Exposed Geomembrane Cover (EGC) Closure

Phase II Construction

The New River Solid Waste Association (NRSWA) is extending an invitation for bids (IFB) for installing Phase II of the Exposed Geomembrane Cover (EGC) Closure at the New River Regional Landfill (NRRL) Class I Landfill. The successful Bidder will be responsible for installing an EGC closure and toe drain system over an area of about 21 acres of landfill side slope (3H:1V maximum slope). The successful Bidder will be responsible for providing all labor, work, materials, equipment, tools, safety, site work, geotextile, drainage sand, trench gravel, welding rod, HDPE pipe, testing, and incidentals for performing all work necessary and as required by the Contract Documents, Technical Specifications, and Drawings. NRSWA will provide the 60-mil high-density polyethylene (HDPE) textured geomembrane. The NRRL is approximately 2.5 miles north of Raiford, Florida, on the east side of State Road 121.

Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined at the NRSWA Administrative Office, 24276 NE 157th Street, Raiford, Florida, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. To ensure that Bidders receive all addenda and or clarifications to the Bidding Documents in a timely manner, it is mandatory that all Bidders obtain at least one set of Bidding Documents from the Engineer to be eligible to bid on this project. Copies of the documents may be obtained electronically from the Engineer by emailing a written request to [email protected]. Sealed Bids can be hand delivered or mailed by private mail/package carrier to NRSWA at 24276 NE 157th Street, Raiford, Florida 32083, or sent by the US Postal Service (USPS) to PO Box 647, Raiford, Florida 32083. After the IFB opening, the bids will be examined for completeness and preserved in the custody of the NRSWA Executive Director. Bids will be evaluated and a contractor selected in accordance with the Contract Documents. All bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The DEADLINE for submittal is Monday, December 16, 2024, at 3:00 pm (local time). A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING will be held at the site on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 10:00 am (local time).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bradford County S.H.I.P. Program will receive sealed bids until 2:30 p.m. December 2, 2024 at the Bradford County Office of the County Clerk located at 945 North Temple Avenue, Starke, Florida 32091 for the following:
