KEYSTONE HEIGHTS AIRPORT AUTHORITY

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals, in duplicate, will be received by the Keystone Heights Airport Authority in the Conference Room at the Keystone Heights Airport Terminal Building, located at 7150 Airport Road, Starke, Florida 32091, until 2:00 PM EDT on November 21, 2024 at which time all proposals received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders are invited to submit proposals for:

PERIMETER FENCE & GATE IMPROVEMENTS FOR WEST SIDE SERVICE ROAD AT

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS AIRPORT

The scope of the project includes the installation of chain link fence, a cantilever gate, gate operator, and power poles to tie into the existing perimeter fence where the new West Side Service Road meets SR-100. Installation of the electric gate and power poles will require underground conduit and wiring, partial demolition of the existing asphalt, and concrete pad installation. Partial demolition of the existing fence shall occur once the proposed fence and electric gate are fully operational.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection will be held at 2:00 PM on November 7, 2024 in the Conference Room at the Keystone Heights Airport Terminal Building. Bidders are strongly urged to attend.

The meeting will be held in person and as a Teams meeting for anyone who wishes to attend virtually.

Contact William R. Prange prior to November 5, 2024 to receive the Teams meeting invitation.

Bidders are invited to submit Proposals for this work on the Proposal Forms provided. Other proposal forms will not be accepted.

The complete examination and understanding of the Contract Documents consisting of the Plans and

Specifications, and all addenda or other revisions, and Site of the proposed work is necessary to properly submit a Proposal. Contract Documents consisting of the Plans and Specifications, and all addenda or other revisions will be available for examination or may be obtained from the offices of the AECOM, 7650 West Courtney Campbell Causeway, Tampa, Florida 33607; contact Diane Kline at (813) 636-2139 or diane.kline @aecom.com. The Contract Documents will be available on or before Friday, October 25, 2024. There is no fee to obtain a set of the Contract Documents. Printed copies of documents will not be made available. Only PDF project plans and specification files, either on CD or sent via File Transfer will be made available. Contractor must obtain the Contract Documents from the Engineer of Record in order to be considered a responsive bidder.

A Bid Bond in the form as bound in the Contract Documents or Certified Check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must accompany each Bid.

Successful Bidder shall be required to execute and to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in an Amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total value of the Contract awarded to him with a satisfactory surety or sureties for the full and faithful performance of the work.

No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of Proposals for a period of sixty (60) days.

The Keystone Heights Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all bids and to award or refrain from awarding the Contract for the Work.

Request for Qualifications

Historic Architectural Services

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Butler (“City”) invites Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and will receive submittals until 4:00 pm on November 30, 2024.

Synopsis: The City, in conformance with the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), Florida Statutes Section 287.055, and the policies andprocedures of the Florida Department of State, Division of Historic preservation, and the City of Lake Butler, is soliciting SOQs fromprofessional engineering firms with State qualified historic preservation architects, for the re-roofing, re-flooring, and new windows of the Historic Townsend Building.  

Submittal Requirements: SOQs must be prepared in conformance with the “Format and Content of Statement of Qualifications Submittals” section of the RFQ.  Six (6) copies shall be submitted in one sealed package, clearly marked on the outside “Sealed SOQ for Engineering Services for Rehabilitation of the Townsend Building, (RFQ#3),” and addressed to:
