CITY OF STARKE FL – WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY UPGRADES

LEGAL NOTICE

City of Starke, Florida (Owner) will receive sealed Bids for Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Upgrades, until 3:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at City of Starke Florida, City Manager’s Office, City Hall, P.O. Bids received will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud.  Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany the Bid.  This Project consists of constructing improvements to the City of Starke’s existing Wastewater Treatment Facility which includes, but is not limited to, upgrades to the influent screen, biological treatment system, secondary clarifiers, disk filters, disinfection, aerobic digester improvements, and other components that support treatment processes and all materials, equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. The Project has an expected duration of 660 days.

A Pre-bid Conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the City of Starke City Hall located at 209 North Thompson Street. A site walk will be conducted upon completion of the pre-bid conference at the WWTF (WWTF site address: 602 Edwards Road, Starke, FL).

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, FLORIDA AMENDING THE CITY ZONING MAP BY AMENDING APPROXIMATELY 13.87 ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY DUCKRO DEVELOPMENT GROUP, INC., FROM RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY (RSF) TO A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD); PROVIDING FINDINGS BY THE CITY COUNCIL; PROVIDING DIRECTIONS FOR RECORDING; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
