Keystone (12-6-1) received an at-large berth in the Region 1 playoffs. The Indians are the eighth seed in the eight-team region and traveled to play number-one seed P.K. Yonge in a quarterfinal match this past Tuesday.

If Keystone defeated the Blue Wave, it will travel to play either fourth seed North Bay Haven (17-4) or fifth seed Maclay (11-5-2) in a semifinal match on Friday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m.

The boys team at KHHS narrowly missed out on qualifying for regionals, finishing ninth in the Florida High School Athletic Association’s Region 1-3A power rankings. Providence was ranked eighth, earning the last at-large bid. The Stallions (9-6-3) had a rating of 3.834, while the Indians (13-3-2) had a rating of 3.743.
