Seasons end for KHHS in girls soccer and boys and girls basketball

Keystone Heights High School saw its season come to an end with an 8-0 loss to P.K. Yonge in a Region 1-3A girls soccer quarterfinal game on Feb. 6 in Gainesville.

The Indians, who were seeded eighth out of eight teams in the region, entered the match having just played number-one seed P.K. Yonge. The Blue Wave (14-3-3) defeated Keystone 5-0 in the District 4-3A championship match on Jan. 30.

Keystone finished its season with a 12-7-1 record.

Both Keystone boys and girls basketball teams went one and out in their respective District 5-4A tournaments. The fifth seed girls team lost 35-26 to fourth seed Santa Fe on Feb. 5, while the sixth seed boys team lost 77-63 to third seed North Marion on Feb. 6.

The boys team finished the season with an 8-14 record, while the girls team went 1-21.
