Keystone Heights High School struggled to set itself up for shots on goal in a 5-0 loss to P.K. Yonge in the District 4-3A girls soccer championship match, which was played Jan. 30 in Williston.

Goalie Aspen Krohn made 17 saves for the second seed Indians.

Xana Briley also played in goal, making four saves.

Top seed P.K. Yonge (13-3-3) was led by Faith Hardy’s three goals.

Keystone (12-6-1) should qualify for the Region 1 playoffs as all four of the district-championship matches in the region were played between teams that finished the season in the top eight of the Florida High School Athletic Association’s Region 1-3A power rankings. The four highest-ranked teams in each region that are district champions receive at-large bids. District champions automatically qualify.

The Region 1 playoffs begin with the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

Playoff matchups will be announced by the FHSAA on Friday, Feb. 2.
