KHHS boys hoops team gets back into the win column

Keystone Heights High School snapped a six-game losing streak in defeating visiting Bronson 49-44 in a boys basketball game that ended the regular season on Feb. 2.

It was a two-point game in favor of the Indians entering the second quarter, but Keystone was able to outscore the Eagles 24-16 to take a 42-32 lead into the fourth quarter.

Keystone got nine points from Garrison Teague, eight from Connor Guy, seven from Andru Siemer, six each from Bryce Hollingsworth and Zeke Pelham, five from Cartez Daniels and four each from Darrion Grady and Bryant Kubisiak.

The Indians (8-13) are the sixth seed in the six-team District 5-4A tournament, which is being hosted by Santa Fe High School. Keystone plays third seed North Marion (10-12) in a quarterfinal game on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m.
