In Memory of R. V. Durrance
Starke and Bradford County have just lost a great, great business man, who founded his business in 1964. A very quiet, private, but friendly man. He could outwork anyone that I know of and he had perseverance in the tasks at hand. He always set an example, not only for his employees, but anyone who observed him. A great husband, father, grandfather and business man, he was a straight-shooter for all who knew him, but words cannot totally express who he was. He, along with his family, agreed to and assisted with accomplishing the mission of having the water tower cross in the Starke sky again on Sept. 5. 2019. This great, great American is R. V. Durrance, founder of Durrance Pump and Well Drilling. He will be greatly missed.
