I am a pediatrician at UF Health Family Medical Group – Starke. Our clinic offers the Moderna vaccine to patients age 18 and up to help prevent COVID-19.
As you may have heard, the Omicron variant of COVID-19 will soon be spreading in Bradford County. If you are an unvaccinated adult, I respectfully recommend that you should receive your first dose of COVID vaccine as soon as possible (especially if you haven’t had COVID illness yet). If you are an adult who received your second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine more than 6 months ago, or your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than 2 months ago, I respectfully recommend that you should receive your booster dose as soon as possible.
