Dear Editor:
American Legion Post 56 will resume its monthly dinner (last Friday of each month) for veterans and their families this Friday, June 24 at 6 p.m. at the post home at Edwards Road, Starke.
This month’s dinner will consist of fish, with the post providing the main dish. Covered dishes relating to a fish dinner are requested to be furnished by attendees.
Attendees are not required to be a member of the post to attend. This is a family gathering of veterans and their families to fellowship and have a pleasant evening together.
