Bradford High School junior linebacker Chason Clark will participate in the U.S. Army National High School Combine, which is held in conjunction with events surrounding the annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl in Frisco, Texas.

The combine, which is modeled after the NFL Scouting Combine, brings the top 600 underclassmen (ninth-11th grades) together to participate in tests and competitive drills, all of which are supervised by former NFL and college coaches.

Data and video of players’ performances will be sent to more than 200 colleges.

Participants in the Dec. 15-18 event will also get to attend the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, which showcases some of the top seniors in the country.

Clark, who learned of his invitation to the combine in November, led the Tornadoes with 101 tackles this season. He was second on the team in tackles for loss with 14.

Though he’ll be participating in the combine as a linebacker, Clark made a mark this year on offense as well. His 216 receiving yards from his tight-end position ranked him second on the team. He also had the second-most touchdown catches with three.

His 36-yards-per-catch average led the team.
