BHS-KHHS football game to now kick off at 7 on Oct. 3

The varsity football game between Bradford and Keystone Heights high schools on Monday, Oct. 3, in Keystone will now kick off at 7 p.m. instead of 7:30 p.m.

Hurricane Ian moved the game from its original date of Friday, Sept. 30.

It is the first District 6-2S game for either team. Bradford, the number-one team in the Class 2S FHSAA power rankings, is 4-0, while Keystone is 1-3.

Both teams will be in action later that same week. The Tornadoes travel to Macclenny on Thursday, Oct. 6, to resume their game against ninth-ranked Class 2S Baker County (3-1) at 6 p.m. The week-one matchup was suspended due to the weather. It will resume at the 4:42 mark of the second quarter, with Bradford leading 21-0.

The Indians travel to play Class 2S Crescent City (1-3) on Friday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m.
