The Bradford at Keystone Heights varsity football game scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30, has been postponed to Monday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. due to Hurricane Ian.
Since schools in both the Bradford and Clay districts are closed from Wednesday, Sept. 28, through Friday, Sept. 30, no athletic events will take place this week after Tuesday, Sept. 27.
As of now, the changing of the Bradford-Keystone football game will have no effect on the continuation of the Bradford-Baker County football game, which is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. in Macclenny. The game, which began on Aug. 26, was suspended in the second quarter due to the weather. Bradford holds a 21-0 lead.
Fans wanting to attend the continuation of the Baker County game will have to buy tickets, though Bradford Athletic Director Sampson Jackson said he was told the admission price wouldn’t exceed $5.
