The Arc of Bradford is holding a grand opening at its Hampton location to showcase it adult day program.
The site is at the former Hampton Elementary School, 10501 Hampton Ave, on Tuesday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drop in at any time to meet the director, staff and volunteers serving the site.
The site features a new Community Health and Wellness Resource Hub dedicated to Arc’s mission to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as Hampton residents.
The Bradford Community Partners latest community hub will also be open to residents on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The partners are a group of community organizations, governmental agencies, health care providers, businesses and churches who are working together to improve access to needed health, employment and other resources in order to improve the quality of life in Bradford County.
Hampton will be the third hub location. There are also locations serving the Starke area at the RJE Complex, 1080 N. Pine St. in Starke, and Lawtey at Tatum Bros. Park, 22598 Park St. The Starke location is open on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. The Lawtey location is open the second Thursday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The hubs are open to all residents. No appointments are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome.
