BMS FFA poultry team is 3rd at state

Bradford Middle School’s FFA poultry team placed third in the state finals at the Florida State Fair. Team member Trevor Clements had the third-highest individual score. Poultry judging consists of using USDA grades to grades carcasses, interior and exterior eggs, place hens, identify parts and place carcasses. The team, which is coached by Kaitlin VanHeusen, will compete in Clay County in April and will be recognized at the state convention in June.
