Local news has been the heart and soul of our organization since we
first started publishing newspapers in 1879 in Bradford County.
And for more than 131 years, we have worked diligently to bring our readers complete coverage of local news, events, sports, weddings, deaths, and much more.
Along the way we have added two weekly publications to our company. The Union County Times has been in existence since 1912, while the Lake Region Monitor was started in 1973.
Through the years technology has significantly changed the way we gather and publish the news. But the goal has remained the same, to keep our readers informed about their communities, the people and businesses that populate them, and to hopefully provide a way for all of those different entities to feel a sense of involvement and ownership of the places where they reside.
